VidBooster is a personal tool built and operated by one individual developer to manage his own YouTube channels. It is not offered to the public and does not have external users or a public sign-up flow. This policy explains what data the tool accesses and how it is used.
VidBooster connects to YouTube's official Data API and Analytics API using the developer's own Google account, via the following OAuth scopes:
youtube.force-ssl — read and update video metadata (titles,
descriptions, thumbnails) and manage comments on the developer's own channels.yt-analytics.readonly — read view counts and other performance
statistics for the developer's own channels. No data belonging to any other YouTube user, viewer, or channel is accessed. The tool only reads and writes data on channels the developer owns and manages.
Data retrieved from the YouTube API is used solely to help the developer manage his own channels — for example, identifying underperforming videos and refreshing their metadata, and tracking affiliate link performance in video descriptions. It is not used for any other purpose.
Retrieved metadata and performance statistics are stored in a private database (Supabase/PostgreSQL) controlled by the developer and refreshed periodically by the tool. Access credentials and the database are not shared with or accessible to any third party.
Data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties. It is used exclusively by the developer for the operation of his own YouTube channels.
Because this tool only manages the developer's own accounts, there are no external user accounts or third-party data to delete. If you have a question about data this tool holds, or a deletion request, contact the address below.
